Pastor Guy is a model of faithfulness for us. He has been a member of HBC for over 40 years and has been one of our pastors for over 30. Pastor Guy leads weekly Bible studies, often teaches Sunday School, and occasionally preaches on Sunday mornings.

Pastor Guy is a gifted teacher and helps the church dive deeper into God’s Word with both joy and reverence. Pastor Guy previously served as a literature professor at the University of Hawaii, where he cultivated his love for thoughtful reflection and scholarship. Today, he enjoys spending time with his beloved wife, Laurel, and their grown children.
